An Uncertain Vision...

This is much more daunting than I originally thought it would be. I have so many ideas for individual posts, but I guess no format for how I want this to begin. So...let's start from the very beginning.

I have always had varied interests. I owe that to my father, who raised his three daughters like sons. While I still have fun with fashion and makeup, I also love vegetable gardens, and woodworking projects, and occasionally working on my own car.

When it came time to pick a college, I was torn between picking a path between becoming a music teacher and climbing my way up to CEO. I ended up picking the CEO track, graduating from a 4-year college in 3 years with a dual degree in Finance and Economics. I'm still a long ways off from becoming CEO, but I'm currently working in my dream job at a world-renown bank. I'm super fortunate for the paths I've taken to get here.

While I love my finance-focused career, I still long for the music journey. I play a few different instruments, including the flute - which I play in a community concert band in my town - and the guitar - which I play in an acoustic duo with one of my sisters. I also assist at local music festivals - which is where I met my now-husband! He is still very involved in the music industry, so I get the best of both worlds.

When we're not working or attending events, we love cooking (my husband has a great food Instagram account!), hiking, and travelling. We also spend our lives with our three dogs - PJ (14 - chihuahua), Roxy (6 - pug/chihuahua/pit/jack russell mix), and Duke (2 - shar pei/beagle).

This blog will showcase all of the above and more. I'll do my best to create categories and lists. I'll try to tell stories and share some of my favorite things. And most of all, I want you to enjoy reading these things!

So...here we go!
